Reverend Cage and Professor Anderson: crafting quirky pop-rock tunes and imbuing them with meaning after the fact. Oct 2018 brought the release of their album ‘On The Back Of A Bird.’ Located across Victoria, the 202 musicians have been collaborating for almost 15 years and have written over 60 original tunes. The collaborators last played in a room together in 2002 and started a songwriting/recording project in 2011. Most of the songwriting and melodic instruments are done in Cage's lair in Elwood; drums, percussion and a bit of dodgy guitar are laid down on the Professor's country estate.
